Fines herbes

Ingredients
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chervil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Optional: 1 clove of garlic and pepper

Combine the herbs in a bowl and add them when finishing your dish, to preserve the flavor.
This may be made with dried herbs too, and can be stored in a airtight container.

 

Bouquet garni

Ingredients
3 twigs fresh parsley
3 twigs fresh thyme
4 dried bay leaves
Optional: 1 twig fresh rosemary

Put all of the herbs in to a cloth bag or tie them together and add it to the pot along with other ingredients for your dish.
This may be made with dried herbs too, and can be stored in a airtight container.

 

Herbes de Provence

Ingredients
3 tablespoons dried thyme
2 tablespoons dried savory
2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried marjoram
2 tablespoons dried parsley

Mix the dried herbs together and voilá. You may use a mortar if you want a finer blend.
Can be stored in a airtight container.
